Once upon a
time there was a little boy and girl called Hansel and Gretel. They lived with
their mother and father in the deep, dark woods. One day Hansel overheard their
mother talking.
“We need to
think of something so our children do not starve to death, because we have no
food at all for them to eat, or they will die very slowly.”
So Hansel
woke up Gretel and grabbed her by the wrist and ran out of the house but when
Gretel said:
“Look up!
Can you see falling sweets?”
they weren’t sweets, they were falling birds!
