Career day!

Yesterday morning the whole of Year 6 took a trip, but where..?
To the career day, of course, at the Moorclose sports centre. Our favourite display was the Royal Navy. The reason the Navy is our best choice in jobs is because even though they didn’t really have information or things to fiddle with unlike a lot of the other stands, they were the ones who inspired us the most. (Even if it was a little hard to understand what they were actually trying to tell me and Kate.)

There were many other fun stalls to choose from like decorating your own biscuits and protecting your egg from the perils of gravity. We also got to learn about retail by counting and weighing sweets. It was amazing to see what jobs you can do when you get older. As we walked through the stands so many people’s jobs amazed us and inspired us to try and get that job when we finished school. The experience was fascinating to see through our own eyes. There were so many to choose from as we have said, far back in this conversation, but now it is time for you to choose, if you're in Year 6. In some year’s time or next year you will be able to pick a winning job. What will you decide to become…?
